Looking to improve you classic Ford without giving up that beautiful classic sounding engine? Performance Adapters is here to offer you the KING of the FE transmission adapters.
Our kit is designed to be as thin as possible to give you the more firewall clearance. This means our adapter is only 1.375" thick. Made from 6061-T6 billet aluminum to ensure the plate will take the abuse of daily driving if you so choose. Our Crank adapter is made of precision 1018 Carbon steel as opposed to others who use the cheaper A36. This ensures strength, longevity and accuracy without needing to worry about deformation in an extreme application.

This adapter will accept a SBF or Modular manual transmissions with the larger 14.25" ring gear. This gives you a lot of options to make your vehicle as comfortable as possible. There are numerous manual transmission options from older F100 to the latest Mustang. 

Our kit uses all off the shelf parts. We do not use a "special" or modified Flywheel. The only custom parts are the adapter plate and crank spacer/adapter. This means if you need to replace your flywheel down the line it is something that is easy ordered online or from your local parts store. 

We offer our kit with two Flywheel options:
1. OEM style neutral balanced SBF Flywheel
2. SFI neutral balanced SBF Flywheel 
3. Or you can get your kit without a flywheel and source your own.
Lastly, Performance Adapters can help you source a Clutch package if needed.

There are also several Mercury, Edsel and Lincoln FE engines that this kit will also work with. Please ensure you have a "standard" Ford FE patterned engine. If you have questions please feel free to reach out to us. 

410/428 
If you have a 410 or 428 these engines are externally balanced and use a different Flywheel. Please advise us upon order if you are using either of these engines. We do still however recommend your builder verifies the balance.
