Now Hiring: Shipping & Fulfillment Assistant

Location: Madison, WI


Position Overview

Performance Adapters is growing, and we're looking for a motivated Shipping & Fulfillment Assistant to join our team. We prefer to fill this role as a full-time position, but we're also open to considering part-time applicants based on experience and availability.

Responsibilities

  • Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment with accuracy.
  • Label and process outgoing shipments using shipping software.
  • Assist with inventory management, including stock counts and restocking shelves.
  • Perform quality inspections to ensure every product meets our standards before shipping.
  • Coordinate with shipping carriers for pickups and delivery tracking.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment.

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and a self-motivated work ethic.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more and stand for extended periods.
  • Basic computer skills (experience with shipping software is a plus).
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • A strong mechanical aptitude or hands-on mechanical background.
  • Knowledge of automotive parts, drivetrains, and vehicle systems.
  • The ability to identify automotive components and understand their applications.
  • A strong work ethic, dependability, and willingness to take ownership of assigned tasks.

Schedule & Compensation

  • Part-Time: Flexible weekday schedule.
  • Full-Time: Available based on performance and business growth.
  • Compensation: Competitive hourly wage based on experience, with opportunities for advancement.

  • Starting Pay: $18–25/hour Depending on Experience
