Performance Adapters — Chevrolet LS/LT to 8HP Transmission

The ZF 8HP series transmissions are among the best options available for transmission swaps today. Pairing one of these with any LS or LT-based vehicle — whether for street or track use — can completely transform performance and drivability.

This adapter system allows you to mate a GM LS or LT engine to a Dodge V8–platform ZF 8HP transmission, including the 8HP70, 8HP75, 8HP90, and 8HP95 models. These transmissions deliver lightning-fast shifts and are capable of handling substantial power levels, especially when combined with aftermarket transmission control systems.

  • Compatible Engines: GM Gen I, II, III, IV, and V LS/LT-based engines (4.8L–6.6L) With 6 Bolt Crank
  • Compatible Transmissions: ZF 8HP70 / 8HP75 / 8HP90 / 8HP95 (Dodge/Chrysler V8 applications)
  • Adapter Plate Material: CNC-machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum for strength and dimensional accuracy
  • Crankshaft Interface: Includes precision-machined steel flexplate adapter and pilot converter adapter to ensure proper converter engagement and crankshaft alignment
  • Torque Capacity: Supports power levels exceeding 1000+ HP when used with upgraded 8HP internals and aftermarket control systems
  • Transmission Control: Compatible with popular standalone controllers such as HTG Tuning GCU, Turbo Lamik, and Sound German Automotive (SGA) systems & More
