Performance Adapters is proud to offer our Gen-3 Ecotec Transmission Adapter, giving you the flexibility to bolt your Gen-3 Ecotec engine to a wide range of GM manual and automatic transmissions.

We know there are other Ecotec adapter options on the market, but our goal is simple: build a better adapter and give you more options.

The Gen-3 Ecotec platform is incredibly versatile, with a wide range of engine configurations available to fit everything from mild street builds to serious performance applications. Your transmission choice shouldn't be what limits your build.

• Billet aluminum adapter plate
• Crank adapter
• GM High Torque Mini Starter 
• Complete hardware set + Instructions

• 1/2-Inch Thick Billet Aluminum Adapter Plate – Strong, precise, and built to handle high torque.
• No Cutting or Bellhousing Mods Required – Retains the full Chevy bellhousing for a true bolt-on installation.
• Starter Included –  Off the shelf and easily replaceable if the situation ever arises
• All Hardware Included – High-grade bolts and fasteners for a complete, hassle-free install.
• Crank Adapter sizing – Perfect size to accept a standard 1.704 O.D. small block Chevy pilot bushing or bearing (SKF #6302-VSP43) for manual transmission applications.

Since this kit is able to work for either an automatic or manual transmission, we do not supply a flexplate or flywheel. For an automatic transmission application, you must use a 168-tooth neutral balance small block Chevy flexplate (Pioneer part #FRA-100 or equivalent). For a manual transmission application, you must use a 168-tooth neutral balance small block Chevy flywheel (Pioneer part #FW-100 or equivalent).
