Transmission Compatibility
Our adapter supports an extensive range of transmissions, giving you real options for your build. For manual applications, choose from various Tremec units, Borg-Warner T-5, T10, Muncie 4-speed, or Chevy-style NV3500 and NV4500 options. For automatic setups, we support the Powerglide, 200-4R, TH350, TH400, 700R4, 4L60 (298mm input shaft style only), and 4L80.
Important Installation Notes
Since this kit accommodates both automatic and manual configurations, flexplates and flywheels are not included. For automatic applications, source a 168-tooth neutral balance small block Chevy flexplate (Pioneer part #FRA-100 or equivalent). For manual builds, you'll need a 168-tooth neutral balance small block Chevy flywheel (Pioneer part #FW-100 or equivalent).
